How do you measure success, and what amount of savings can we expect?
We specialize in value driven engagements and our compensation is weighted on how much money we can save your organization. Results can vary by customer based on purchase volume and established OEM and Publisher discounts. What is Compare IT designed to accomplish?
Compare IT is designed to supplement your standard configuration catalogue. There are times when negotiations for better discounts can stall and it is good to have a backup plan either for procurement or negotiating purposes.
How long does it take to get a comparison quote?
It depends on the number of comparable quotes that are requested and whether the organization is looking for budgetary or final pricing. The system does not generate quotes automatically and we must follow the OEM/Publisher processes to reach a best and final quote. We will always be pushing for the optimal discounts
Does Compare IT include a comparative analysis?
Compare IT quotes are uploaded into your catalogue for review. If you need a comparative analysis you would upload an RFQ from Quote IT and describe the analysis request in the comments section
Does Compare IT work for Software?
Due to the limitation of comparable software vendors, and the complexity of comparing functionality differences, software requests should be submitted through the RFQ template.
Are CompareIT quotes negotiated for optimal pricing?
Yes. The quote uploaded has been negotiated for best and final pricing.

What is Quote IT designed to accomplish?
Quote IT is where the IngenewIT™ journey begins and contains an optional SCO Catalogue, a BTO Datacenter Catalogue, and an RFQ Module. It is designed to feed all three major modules (Track IT, Manage IT and Report IT) and contains three different customizable modules that were designed to give IT organizations unprecedented access to pricing on, not just commodities and CTO builds, but complex datacenter BTO builds as well. The RFQ module allows our customers to create quote requests for multiple OEM and track their requests through completion within a collaborative environment that includes a repository for documents and completed quotes:
Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) Catalogue - NETS can integrate any distributor or VAR SCO catalogue into IngenewIT™ giving customers pricing on a plethora of commodity IT products.
BTO Datacenter Catalogue – Maintaining standard configuration is one of the cornerstones to competitive balance. The BTO Datacenter Catalogue can house the most complex datacenter builds and allows our customers to compare pricing on those builds with other OEM offerings at a click of the mouse. We manage the builds for EOL parts, as well as list price changes and technical changes on a monthly basis and report any findings to our customers.
RFQ Module – Need a quote on a larger and more complex build like Hadoop, HPC or HCI with competing quotes from multiple OEM… or need a quote on hardware or software not included in your standard build catalogue… or need a hardware break fix quote on hardware that is EOSL? Simply request a quote in the RFQ module and track your quote through completion within Track IT.
Is there a restriction to the number of vendors or standard BTO configurations that can be added?
Nope.
Does Quote IT contain Cloud compute and storage quote options?
Cloud is not available as a catalogue item and is quoted by creating an RFQ.
Can an order be placed directly from the Datacenter Catalogue?
Not at this time, however it is being planned for a future release.

If you are under an “As a Service Agreement” with NETS we can populate the catalogue with OEM/Publisher direct quotes. Some limitations apply.
Is Quote IT customizable?
Yes. It is one of the most customizable modules in IngenewIT™.
Must a customer go through IngenewIT™ to receive a quote?
No. If an In-genius receives an RFQ via email they will manually enter the RFQ and estimate the probability.
What is Alert IT designed to accomplish?
Alert IT is designed to help our customers with the latest End of Sale (EOS), End of Support Life (EOSL), bug fix, firmware update and other alerts necessary to keep a clean and healthy IT environment. We search for the alerts and tie them to the affected serial numbers and assets in the database for your review.
How are alerts sent and reviewed?
The menu bar will notify you when there are alerts to be viewed and/or changes in any request or module in your profile.
Can we choose how we receive alerts and determine which alerts we receive?
No. However, the alerts are noninvasive and can be cleared easily.
Can alerts be pushed to my mobile devices?
Not at this time as the mobile application is under development and scheduled for release in Q4 2023.
Is the Alerts Library customizable?
Yes. It can be scoped in the SOW.

Does Locate IT automatically discover device locations?
No. It is a manual database and we do not deploy agents on networks; however, we can assist our customers with third party products that can autodiscover assets.
Is the Locate IT Report customizable?
Yes. It can be scoped in the SOW; however, the customization is limited to the data collected within other IngenewIT™ modules.

Each project is linked to its applicable Track IT record and all the documents uploaded to support each project.
How is the data uploaded?
The data is accumulated through the submission from the RFQ module and is updated by the In-genius assigned to the account.
Must a customer go through IngenewIT™ to receive a quote?
No, but if an In-genius receives an RFQ via email they will manually enter the RFQ and estimate the probability.
Is the Forecast customizable?
Yes. It can be scoped in the SOW; however, the customization is limited to the data collected within other IngenewIT™ modules.

Is the Purchasing Report customizable?
Yes. It can be scoped in the SOW; however, the customization is limited to the data collected within other IngenewIT™ modules.
What is the Savings Report designed to accomplish and how does it work?
The Savings module in Report IT is one of the cornerstones of the IngenewIT™ value proposition. It establishes baseline discounts on datacenter hardware and software purchases and compares it to the pricing actually delivered by NETS and/or our VAR partners. The data is reviewable, downloadable and each order, including all supporting documents, can be tracked back to the original Catalogue Quote or RFQ. One needs to look no further than the Savings module to justify the adoption of IngenewIT™.
How does NETS establish baseline discounts?
Most if not all, datacenter discounts are volume driven. NETS establishes baseline discounts in one of two ways, which will be documented in the SOW:
Customer Provided Data – The Companies provide quotes supporting discount levels at various deal sizes to validate the aggregate discounts by OEM/Publisher. We can also use direct or indirect pricing contracts to establish discount levels.
Standard Distributor Discounts – In the event a customer cannot provide documentation to support specific discount levels, we utilize standard distributor discount levels to establish our baselines.
Are discount levels in subsequent years based on the previous year discount levels?
No. It is static not dynamic. The entire engagement is based on either standard distributor discount levels for customers without historical purchasing data; or validated discount levels provided by new customers during the SOW creation.
Does Savings work for Software and SCO purchases?
Yes, however it is common that our customers will see less savings on software and SCO purchases due to several factors including a lack of competitive balance, and/or the commodity component of SCO sales.
Is there a limit to the number of OEM/Publishers that can be represented in Savings?
No, but the objective is to tabulate Savings on the highest volume orders and not get inundated with less meaningful acquisitions. Most customers will want to track major OEMs and Publishers representing the greater proportion of spend and potential savings.
Is the Savings report customizable?
Only to the extent of adding or removing providers.
What is Ticket IT Report designed to accomplish?
Ticketing module in Report IT is designed to give the enterprise a single pane of glass view into all OEM and Publisher tickets opened companywide. The OEM or Third-Party Maintenance Provider are responsible for remediating all tickets.
Can Ticket IT drill down to common failures to determine trends?
Yes, Ticket IT displays the ticket volume by provider, the asset make and model, the suspected failure, the ticket open and close dates, as well as any escalations requested.
How do you determine an OEM’s dependability?
It is as easy as comparing the number of assets verses the number of tickets opened in a given period.
How do you determine the support provider performance ranking?
It is a mathematical equation considering the number of tickets opened and the amount of time it takes to close a volume of tickets during a certain timeframe.
Is the Ticket IT report customizable?
Yes. It can be scoped in the SOW.
What is Warranty Report designed to accomplish?
The Warranty Report is designed to manage all hardware and software support entitlements and the MACs to every contract. The data includes all asset information including Contract number, Software Publisher SKU or OEM make/model and serial number, install site, and customer PO#. The report is linked to every individual asset and their history from quote creation through support renewal.
How am I notified what entitlements are set to expire?

It makes planning based on each companies’ depreciation schedule simple; and every asset you view/download is tied to its complete history from the original quote forward.
Can the Lifecycle estimate be used as a binding quote?
No. It is for planning/budgetary purposes only and is most used to review assets potential for refresh for a specific timeframe.

Is IngenewIT™ integrated with OEM and Software ticketing portals?
Yes. For certain providers we can API with their ticketing system.
Does Track IT take the place of the provider ticketing portals?
No. Ticket IT is more robust and is designed to aggregate data into insightful reports, but unless iSAM has been contracted to manage the tickets, companies should rely on the provider portals to manage ticket.
What is iSAM and how does it work?
iSAM stands for Your iSAM is responsible for managing, expediting, and closing all vendor agnostic tickets companywide to provide the most accurate real-time data on your supported events.
What happens when a ticket is expedited via Ticket IT?
It depends on whether you have iSAM:
If you do NOT have contracted iSAM Service - It simply documents that you have had to expedite a ticket and the reason. The expedite record is then used in the provider performance analysis.
If you have contracted iSAM Service - Your In-genius would immediately escalate your ticket with the provider and get you to the appropriate level of support. And, from that point forward hand hold the ticket through closure.
How do we close a ticket?
It depends on whether you have iSAM:
If you do NOT have contracted iSAM Service - Go to the specific ticket in the Track IT section and close the ticket. It is imperative that your staff closes the tickets promptly, so it does not adversely affect the providers ranking.
If you have contracted iSAM Service – The iSAM In-genius assigned to your account tracks, manages and closes all tickets on your behalf.
Is Track IT customizable?
Yes. Customization can be scoped in the SOW.
What is Track IT designed to accomplish?
